Job Overview

Are you passionate about the intersection of renewable energy and sustainability? We’re looking for a driven Material Sales Manager to join our expanding team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our Materials Sales Director and cross-functional teams to optimize the value of recycled materials and second-life solar panels.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement cutting-edge strategies for material sales in collaboration with the Materials Sales Director and our sales & marketing teams.

Nurture existing client relationships while actively seeking out new opportunities to expand our customer base.

Evaluate and qualify potential buyers to ensure sales targets and profitability goals are met.

Deliver compelling presentations to internal and external stakeholders to secure deals.

Manage HubSpot CRM for the materials sales team to track and enhance customer interactions.

Work closely with operations, engineering, and R&D teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities to increase recycling profitability.

Coordinate with logistics and customer operations to ensure seamless shipment handling.

Collaborate with the sales team on projects involving reuse or manufacturing scrap.

Establish domestic outlets for solar panels still in operation, supporting sustainable energy initiatives.

Requirements

Minimum five years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in materials, commodities, manufacturing, or renewable energy sectors.

Proficiency in CRM software, preferably HubSpot, with the ability to leverage technology to drive sales efficiency.

Proven track record in negotiating, presenting, and closing sales deals.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Desired Skills

Familiarity with aluminum manufacturing, fabrication, recycling, or glass manufacturing.

Background in mining operations or related industries.

Self-motivated, with a talent for building and maintaining strong relationships and a keen eye for detail.
