Join us on our innovative journey and work toward a clean energy future! We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team at our Mesquite, TX location. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment and play a crucial role in managing raw materials and inventory to support our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Fulfillment: Efficiently pull and prepare orders from inventory, delivering production materials and staging finished products for distribution.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an organized storage area by accurately identifying, labeling, and tracking materials and supplies. Report any shortages promptly.
  • Cycle Counts: Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.
  • Material Handling: Locate, verify, and deliver materials and supplies based on production orders, ensuring seamless operations at work centers.
  • Shipping Preparation: Pack and prepare materials for shipping, including crating and securing products for transport.
  • Documentation: Record and document all materials delivered, shipped, and returned to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct pre-use inspections on material-handling equipment, performing minor repairs as needed.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to workplace safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in inventory and loading areas.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Process improvement mindset with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of inventory control practices
  • Lean manufacturing methodology and 5S experience are a plus
  • Capability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds)
  • Basic data entry skills
  • Forklift operation experience is essential

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in stock or inventory management is a plus
  • Forklift certification required

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced warehouse setting with exposure to mechanical parts and varying noise levels.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock or flammable mixtures.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
