Job Description:    Marketing Director 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced B2B Marketing Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that will increase web traffic, generate high-quality business inquiries, and provide valuable opportunities for our sales team resulting in successful lead conversion. This position is an individual contributor that will create, implement, and drive all marketing activities while leveraging our 3rd party digital marketing agency. This is a full-time, on-site position reporting directly to the company President.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a B2B marketing strategy with the team targeting specific industries and markets that would benefit from our differentiated manufacturing solutions.
  • Content Creation: Create engaging and informative online content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and videos, aimed at educating our potential clients and driving organic traffic.  Articulate company position and differentiating value proposition.
  • Lead Generation: Implement lead generation tactics, such as landing pages and lead forms, to capture business inquiries effectively. Monitor and evaluate the performance.
  • Analytics: Define KPIs and utilize web analytics and other measurement tools to evaluate the ROI of different marketing campaigns, modifying strategy as needed for optimum performance.
  • Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with the necessary marketing materials and insights needed for converting leads into customers.
  • SEO & SEM:  Collaborate with External Provider to optimize website and online content for search engines to increase visibility and ranking. Manage paid advertising campaigns to reach targeted audience.
  • Email Marketing: Create and run targeted email marketing campaigns aimed at nurturing leads and engaging existing customers.
  • Social Media: Oversee the company’s social media profiles to build brand awareness and generate interest in our services.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, and operations to achieve growth-oriented business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in a technical, manufacturing or cleantech industry
  • Exceptional communication, writing and presentation skills
  • Proficient in marketing automation software and CRM systems
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and web analytics
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills
