Position Overview:
As the Logistics Specialist at SolEnergy, you will be responsible for managing warehouse operations and supporting the logistical needs of our solar installation projects. You will work closely with project managers, installation teams, and vendors to ensure that materials and equipment are properly received, stored, and distributed. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and inventory materials and equipment delivered to the warehouse.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and labeling of incoming and outgoing items.
  • Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to facilitate efficient access and retrieval.
  • Coordinate with project managers to prioritize and fulfill material requests for installation projects.
  • Prepare materials and equipment for shipment to project sites, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks, as well as arranging transportation logistics.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile stock levels and identify discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with vendors to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Communicate regularly with project managers and installation teams to provide status updates on material availability and delivery schedules.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties, including cleaning, organizing, and equipment maintenance.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in logistics or warehouse management preferred.
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a related field.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for warehouse operations.
