Overview
We are seeking a skilled Solar Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work and a passion for renewable energy solutions.
Duties
– Install, maintain, and repair solar panel systems on rooftops or other structures
– Perform electrical wiring and connections for solar PV systems
– Troubleshoot system issues and perform necessary repairs
– Conduct site evaluations to determine optimal placement of solar panels
– Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations throughout all tasks
– Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion
Experience
– Prior experience in electrical work, preferably in a commercial electrician role
– Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems
– Ability to read and interpret schematics and use a voltmeter
– Familiarity with power tools and forklift operation
– Understanding of NEC codes related to solar installations
– Plumbing skills are a plus for system water circulation requirements
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
