Land Management Analyst
  • Contract Duration 3+ months
  • Remote: Can work remotely anywhere in the US. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting lease agreements and other land-related agreements for real estate portfolio in development, construction, operations
  • Accurately abstracting critical lease payment and contract terms in SAP-RE according to agreement/contract specifications for new and existing agreements.
  • Diligently researching discrepancies and performing payment reconciliations, as needed
  • Evaluating rental provisions including flat and complex rents across all phases, royalties, reimbursements (crop damage, legal fees, taxes), installation fees, met tower fees, etc.
  • Researching historical transactions, uncashed checks for escheatment, Ad hoc payment reporting
  • Reconciling contract Legal Descriptions with GIS mapping tool

Providing two profiles for qualification:
Profile 1

  • AP Experience working in SAP
  • Real Estate Module in SAP
  • Real Estate type payment experience
  • Real estate agreements
  • Open Items experience on vendor accounts with experience matching and clearing in SAP

Profile 2

  • Land Management Experience
  • Legal Descriptions/Land Management
  • Visual Depiction/Mapping
  • Understanding GIS and experience in GIS

Job Requirements:
Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting
  • 3-5 years of experience as a payment or accounting analyst, ideally in the real estate field.
  • Basic knowledge of US-GAAP and IFRS accounting guidelines
  • Familiarity with lease and real estate contracts and complex payment terms
  • Lease portfolio experience a plus
  • Renewable energy or utility experience a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel) applications. SAP Transactional Knowledge; SAP-RE experience a big plus
  • GIS or other land mapping system experience a big plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem solving
  • Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
