Salary Range: $140,000 – $160,000 plus bonus and incentive stock options

Job Summary

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Data and IT the IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company’s IT operations, ensuring the effective and secure use of technology across the organization. This role involves troubleshooting, budgeting, managing IT infrastructure and technology stack, managing third party vendors, supporting the IT needs of all departments, and driving technological advancements that support the company’s growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an IT strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and supports its growth. Ensure the effective use of technology to enhance business processes.
  • Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the company’s IT infrastructure, to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems.
  • Manage the IT support function to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues. Providing level 1 technical support and guidance to employees.
  • Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect the company’s data and IT systems from threats. Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure the ongoing availability of critical IT services and systems.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify vulnerabilities and establish effective mitigation strategies to maintain business operations during disruptions.
  • Lead IT implementation projects, from planning and execution to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the company’s requirements.
  • Oversee the integration of new technologies and systems into the company’s IT environment. Ensure seamless operation and compatibility with existing systems.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget. Monitor and control IT expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on the latest technology trends and innovations. Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies to improve the company’s operations and competitiveness.
  • Ensure all IT operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Implement best practices for IT governance and risk management.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, and system integration. Experience with cloud computing and IT project management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing IT projects from inception to completion. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience developing and managing IT budgets. Strong financial acumen and cost management skills.
  • Experience administering industry software and tools: office suites, e.g. Microsoft or Google, access control, wikis, ticketing systems, SSO, VPN services.
  • Experience operating and/or setting up ticketing systems and support systems, with KPIs around volumes and timing.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing technology landscape and business environment. Proactive and innovative mindset.
  • In-depth understanding of IT compliance and regulatory requirements. Experience implementing best practices for IT governance and risk management.
  • Prior experience with ERP implementation and managing third party helpdesks is strongly preferred.
