Investment Associate

We are delighted to be partnered with a leading investor in the clean energy and infrastructure sectors, they are an esteemed firm specializing in private investments within the energy and energy related infrastructure sectors throughout the North America and overseas.

Reporting directly to a Managing Director, your primary role as Investment Associate will involve conducting thorough financial analysis for energy sector investments, crafting investment recommendations, aiding in transaction closures, and contributing to the management of the investment portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the origination, analysis, due diligence, documentation, closing, and monitoring of investments.
• Prepare for and engage in regular portfolio reviews.
• Formulate investment recommendations and present them to senior members of the Investment team.
• Generate new investment concepts and draft investment memoranda.
• Conduct research on broad industry trends and dynamics.
• Manage and organize all supporting data.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence and financial analysis.
• Develop intricate financial models and reporting tools.
• Monitor investment portfolio through the maintenance of cash flow models, assessment of financial and operational reports, and industry research.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or associate fields
• 2 years+ of analytical experience in private equity, or investment banking.
• Experience working within infrastructure and renewables
• Proficient analytical and quantitative skills.
• Advanced expertise in financial modeling.
