About Redwood Materials Redwood Materials was founded in 2017 to create a circular supply chain for electric vehicles and clean energy products, making them more sustainable and driving down the cost for batteries. We’re doing this by developing and deploying new technologies to increase the scope and scale of recycled and sustainable materials in the global battery supply chain.

Inventory Control Supervisor

The Inventory Control Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the accuracy and integrity of inventory within our operations. This individual will lead a team of Inventory Control Specialists, ensuring that stock takes, problem-solving efforts, and related projects are conducted efficiently to support the overall accuracy of the warehouse management system. The Supervisor will also focus on addressing challenges such as outdoor storage conditions and breaks in material flow processes.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Inventory Control Specialists, including standard “IC Specialists” and “Lead IC Specialists”.
  • Oversee and conduct full warehouse visual count audits (stock takes) to initiate comprehensive problem-solving efforts.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts and implement process improvements to address issues identified during stock takes.
  • Manage and ensure the accuracy of data within Oracle WMS for redwood’s production facilities and warehouse facilities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address challenges related to outdoor storage conditions, unclear physical and virtual locations, and other inventory-related issues.
  • Facilitate regular physical inventory audits, ensuring completion and accuracy of cycle counts.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint) to create reports and support management decision-making.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Inventory Control experience required.
  • Warehousing or operations experience required.
  • Previous leadership experience required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with Oracle WMS, RF Scanners, and basic Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively and keep team members engaged according to their skill levels.

The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
