With a vehicle that never flies higher than a few meters off the water, we unlock the ability to fly twice as far as an electric aircraft, and certification by maritime authorities which will let us fly first passengers by mid-decade. We are backed by the world’s best investors: the same investors who are behind SpaceX, Anduril, and Boom Supersonic, in addition to strategic investors like Lockheed Martin, Japan Airlines, and Hawaiian Airlines. We have over $9B in orders from some of the industry’s largest operators and are hard at work getting our full-scale, human-carrying prototype on the water next year. REGENT is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Integration Technician to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, this is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of electric aviation and contribute to the development of groundbreaking technology that will redefine air travel. • Stage, assemble, and install vehicle hardware and systems
  • Perform mechanical assembly, including composite and metallic structures
  • Utilize precision calibrated tools including torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers to ensure accurate assembly and installation
  • Perform in-process testing and handle heavy rigging for large assemblies
  • Operate personnel platforms (e.g., boom lifts, scissor lifts) and use various mechanical tools and heavy equipment autonomously
  • Read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to execute tasks according to procedures, specifications, and test instructions
  • Collaborate with production engineers to develop and document integration processes, and design and implement assembly fixtures or shop aids to enhance manufacturing processes
  • Execute and manage new configuration introductions into the production area, including process development and validation for new designs
  • Create and support equipment maintenance and calibration schedules, and implement standard practices, troubleshooting guides, and standard repair procedures
  • Ensure all production services are performed safely, on time, and in a professional manner
  • Identify, implement, and train fellow technicians on changes to design, process, safety, and floor layout to improve yield, performance, and cost

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate

  • Ability to modify and repair carbon fiber and fiberglass composite structures
  • Proficiency in mechanical or electrical hardware installation
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding detailed schematics, technical drawings, manuals, and reports
  • Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring instruments
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to rapidly changing roles and responsibilities in a high-paced, challenging work environment

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant license
  • Associate degree in aerospace technology or equivalent area of study
  • Experience in the aerospace industry, aviation, military, or other high-reliability operating environments
  • Experience supporting research and development projects, including first article builds, integration, and testing
  • Experience with forklifts, cranes, and heavy transport equipment
  • Experience with high-voltage energy storage and electrical systems
  • Proficient with computers and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
