Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inspection Coordinator to join our team. The Inspection Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and ensuring the successful completion of all inspections related to our solar installation projects. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Inspections: Coordinate and schedule inspections with local authorities, utility companies, and customers to ensure timely project progression.
  • Prepare Documentation: Ensure all necessary documentation and permits are prepared and available for inspectors.
  • Communicate with Stakeholders: Act as the primary point of contact between project managers, installation teams, inspectors, and customers regarding inspection schedules and requirements.
  • Monitor Inspection Progress: Track and monitor the progress of inspections, ensuring any issues or delays are promptly addressed.
  • Maintain Records: Keep detailed records of all inspections, including dates, outcomes, and any follow-up actions required.
  • Compliance: Ensure all inspections comply with local, state, and federal regulations and company standards.
  • Issue Resolution: Address any issues or concerns raised during inspections and coordinate with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance inspection coordination efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a coordination or administrative role, preferably within the construction or renewable energy industry.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
