About This Role

Lumio is looking for a passionate individual with great interpersonal skills to join our team as an entry-level Inside Sales Setter! As an Inside Sales Setter your job duties will include, but are not limited to, generating sales leads, contacting potential customers, communicating solar benefits to sell solar products, and more. We are looking for someone with great communication skills and a passion for sales!

Overall Responsibilities

  • Schedule demos and appointments between or Energy Consultants and prospective customers

  • Ability to make a high volume of outbound calls daily and interact professionally with prospective customers

  • Execute activities for prospecting, lead generation, lead qualification and positioning solar products to existing customers

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads

  • Understand customer requirements and effectively communicate the company value proposition

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, text and/or video

  • Assist prospective customers during the product evaluation process

  • Create quotes and new customer accounts within the company CRM system

  • Coordinate with distribution and channel partners

  • Manage, maintain, and communicate accurate customer records with the sales team and sales leadership

  • Submit accurate and timely commits on a weekly and monthly basis

  • Develop new pipeline business through Lumio business partners

  • Provide market feedback, including customer priorities and needs

  • Perform other needed job tasks as requested by leadership

Qualifications

  • Good listening and communication skills, including writing skills

  • The ability to see things from the customers point of view and to be conscious of the customer experience

  • Must be able to make a high volume of outbound daily and interact professionally

  • Experience in at least one of the following: sales, customer service, telemarketing, appointment setting, or collections

  • Team oriented, coachable, and a contributor to excellent culture

  • Have a competitive drive, desire to learn and grow, and be self-motivated.

  • Willing to take on tough challenges and find new ways of being successful

  • Positive attitude and personality

  • Persuasive and comfortable with professional debate to overcome objections

  • Strong work ethic, self-disciplined

  • Exceptional phone skills are a must
