Position Overview

Are you ready to shape the future of global procurement strategy? As the Head of Global Supply Chain Strategy, reporting directly to our COO, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives, fostering key partnerships, and developing a visionary procurement strategy to propel our organization to new heights. What You’ll Do

Collaborate closely with manufacturing organizations, governmental bodies, and internal stakeholders to develop and implement forward-thinking commercial procurement strategies.

Stay ahead of legislative and regulatory developments to anticipate procurement implications and drive business objectives.

Create and execute long-term global sourcing strategies ensuring efficient delivery of materials and services, supporting our multi-gigawatt solar and storage pipeline in the U.S.

Cultivate strong partnerships with current and prospective domestic and international suppliers to maximize value delivery.

Stay informed about industry trends, emerging markets, and technological advancements, integrating these insights into our procurement strategies.

Expertly navigate physical and political risks, addressing challenges such as supply chain disruptions and market fluctuations.

Establish metrics and cultivate strategic relationships to secure reliable access to global solar and storage suppliers, aligning with our growth goals.

Required Skills And Experience

Over 12 years of leadership experience in supply chain or procurement roles.

Extensive background (10+ years) in strategic leadership within the solar and/or storage development industry.

Proven ability to build and maintain international relationships within procurement.

Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation prowess, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Deep understanding of procurement best practices, solar manufacturing capabilities, and global supply and demand dynamics.

Excellent analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.

Effective communicator with a strong executive presence, capable of engaging global audiences and influencing C-Suite decisions.

Bachelor’s degree in international business, economics, engineering, or global supply chain management; Master’s degree preferred.

Working Environment

Flexibility with remote or hybrid work options; no relocation required.

Occasional domestic and international travel (up to 25%).
