Captona is looking to hire an experienced business developer for a Head of Capital Raising & Investor Relations; Renewable Energy position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing capital-raising strategies, building relationships with institutional investors, and overseeing investor relations to ensure transparent communication and sustained investor confidence. This role will report directly to the CEO and play a critical role in shaping the growth trajectory of the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Raise capital from institutional investors, including insurance companies, pension funds, family offices, and strategic partners.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing investors through regular updates on Captona’s portfolio and pipeline.
- Craft and deliver compelling presentations and pitch materials to showcase Captona’s investment thesis and performance.
- Develop and implement investor marketing strategies to build long-term partnerships with key investors.
- Oversee investor due diligence, coordinating with internal teams to provide necessary data and insights.
- Cultivate relationships with industry consultants to support limited partners (LPs).
- Stay ahead of renewable energy and sustainability market trends to enhance fundraising efforts and investor engagement.
- Represent Captona at industry events to build connections and enhance the firm’s visibility.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in capital raising and investor relations
- Proven track record of raising capital for energy, infrastructure, or real assets
- A network of established relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and other key stakeholders
- Self-starting, entrepreneurial mentality with ability to build relationships and close new business
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for a variety of investor audiences
- Interest in the energy transition landscape, renewable energy markets, and sustainability
The estimated base salary range for this position is $250K-$450K. Total compensation includes bonus and comprehensive benefits.
