The programme

The programme lasts for 2-years and includes rotations of 3-12 months across functions, business areas.

The position

By joining our team in Safety, Security and Sustainability you will have the opportunity to-

  • Safeguarding people and assets, promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Performing risk assessments related to physical (noise and vibration), chemical and biological working environment factors.
  • Supporting and advising various parts of the business in how to manage and reduce health and working environment risks.
  • Contributing to Security-, Crisis- and Business Continuity management, analyzing and planning.
  • Contributing to developing our risk management processes including with the use of artificial intelligence (AI tools).
  • Contributing to developing cross-functional methodologies.
  • Ensuring compliance with climate, environment, and sustainability standards.
  • Collaborating with the health and working environment function to enhance employee well-being.
  • Working on governance, assurance, and risk management activities.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of safety and sustainability strategies.
  • Take on a key HSE role within project development, drilling and well, operations onshore/offshore or renewables.
  • Conducting safety inspections and audits.
  • Analysing data and trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Participating in the development and delivery of safety training programs.
  • Manage and assess environmental and social impacts within all business activities and value chains (e.g. Oil and Gas, Wind, Hydrogen, Carbon Capture and Storage, Solar and Batteries).
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive safety and sustainability initiatives.
  • Contributing to the low-carbon transition and renewable energy projects.
  • Engaging in improvement initiatives and promoting functional excellence.
  • Networking with professionals across various disciplines to broaden knowledge and expertise.

You

For this position we are looking for those with-

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s degree or PhD with good academic record within relevant studies such as technical, social and economic disciplines, i.e. process safety, technical safety, sustainability, environment, risk management, renewables, petroleum, mechanical, material, energy, data, marine biology, chemistry, psychology, legal etc.
  • Completed degree within year of starting (2025)
  • Fluent in English
  • No more than two years of relevant fulltime work experience
  • Formal experience is not a requirement  
  • Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage
