Job Description

DSD seeks a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager (FP&A) to join our rapidly expanding team. DSD originates, develops, finances, builds, owns, and operates 500kW-10MW solar assets, often enhanced by energy storage. This role will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of the annual budget, periodic forecasts, monthly reporting, and the administration of planning and reporting capabilities in Adaptive Planning. This position will report to the Director of FP&A.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of reporting, corporate KPIs and financial dashboards
  • Assist in annual budget preparation and maintenance of working forecast
  • Create and maintain reporting by legal entity, project, and cost center. Distribute to content owners for review monthly.
  • Prepare monthly reporting to be distributed to executive management and leadership team
  • Work with front line managers to review team financial results monthly
  • Partner with accounting to ensure cost center and project reporting is accurate
  • Assist in preparation of monthly business review materials with CFO and CEO
  • Maintain and update corporate planning models
  • Assist with preparing presentations to senior management and investors
  • Prepare ad-hoc reporting projects as required

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in finance or accounting from an accredited university
  • Professional experience with a solar or energy storage developer, with record of sustained advancement
  • Experience with financial planning and reporting systems required.
  • MBA a plus.

  • Proactive, resourceful, efficient with strong decision-making skills; works independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience in the renewables energy sector preferred
  • Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning system desirable.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to understand and interpret large amounts of data.
