Finance Associate

A dynamic and innovative organization within the Energy sector are looking for an Energy Growth Associate. The successful candidate will have a background in investment banking or private equity, and worked on energy projects.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and recommend strategic business strategies, partnerships, and investment opportunities in renewable energy.
• Create financial models to analyze projects
• Analyze and optimize project economics through cost-benefit and sensitivity analysis.
• Support negotiation and structuring of project financing agreements.
• Assist in preparing project proposals, presentations, and investment memos.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including feasibility studies and financial models.
• Collaborate with business development teams to identify strategic partnerships and investment opportunities.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in energy investment banking or related financial roles.
• Familiarity with financial analysis related to environmental credits, project financing, and regulatory assessments.
• Experience managing multiple partnerships and business deals concurrently.
• Intrinsic motivation, entrepreneurial spirit, and problem-solving mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze projects for financial feasibility.
• 2-5 years’ experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity, preferably in Energy or Industrials.
