Job Description
We are looking for a Field Application Engineer to assist technical discussion and solution design between customers in region of the USA along with Delta’s oversea teams for semiconductor equipment manufacturing industry.
Role
You will be responsible for co-operation with customers and field support in order to remove technical and non-technical obstacles in development and integration of Delta products into customer’s systems. You must be able to leverage and combine technical expertise with sales techniques to improve company sales and win new customers as well as maintain good relationship with existing ones.
Responsibilities
Provide direct technical support to analyze and understand problems of Delta products in customer’s applications. Collect accurate information of usage and failure mode and work with Delta teams on effective closure of the issue
Provide system architecture guidance, conduct schematic reviews, and assist with qualification and debugging at customer side. Provide accurate technical information and general commercial data to customers to address their inquiries about existing and new Delta products
Provide roadmap presentations and lead technical discussions to evaluate customer’s requirements and to promote Delta products and technologies
Co-operate and support account managers and regional sales teams to create and develop relationships with new customers
Collaborate with Delta design, factory and quality teams to facilitate communication between those teams and customers to drive closure on customer deliverables
Qualifications & Requirements:
MSEE with minimum 7 years of experience in design or applications engineering in RF generators, high voltage power supplies and pulsing power supplies for semiconductor manufacturing equipment
Knowledge and expertise in switching power supplies technology, production processes & quality control, communication buses and protocols used in semiconductor manufacturing equipment
Ability to effectively analyze & debug issues in customer’s applications as well as to manage and drive the problem solving process between customers and Delta teams
Able to build up relationship with customers & present Delta product and technologies
Able to properly prioritize task and respond to each of them individually
Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills: ability to understand a customer needs and probe for answers, determine a solution and advocate that solution to the customer.
