Centerline Drilling, Inc. is a fast-growing heavy civil contractor in beautiful Central Oregon. We have a proven record of success and are looking to expand further. Centerline currently operates in three main sectors of heavy civil contracting: Renewables, Transmission-Distribution lines, and Substations. We have positioned ourselves as critical to the success of the installation of underground/overhead utilities and solar fields.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Liaison for project stakeholders concerning project details and deliverables.

Assisting in the planning and implementation of projects, full project scope.

Helping to coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables.

Analyzing data as required for profitability, margins, and material needs.

Conducting administrative duties – including but not limited to, coordinating meetings, drafting invoices, and estimates.

Monitoring projects throughout the project life cycle, including tracking progress to ensure critical project milestones are met.

Assist in analyzing projects to determine the projects task requirements.

Assist in estimate preparation from takeoff, extension, review and bid summarization.

Assist in preparing project documentation from plans and specifications, complete quantity surveys of materials and labor required on contract or direct construction projects; prices materials and labor and sets up estimates of costs of construction projects; requisitions materials as required.

Assist in Customer Service, scheduling, and vendor management.

Performing other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Competencies and Qualifications:

  • Solid Understanding of basic estimating programs with appropriate internal training
  • Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read plans and specifications.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Construction industry experience preferred, earthwork, heavy civil or concrete a bonus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong tolerance to adversity and the ability to work under deadlines.
  • Enjoy a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Overall willingness to learn and to keep learning as the industry evolves.
  • Ability to utilize own resources to solve problems.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • High mathematical aptitude
  • Ability to pass a pre-hire screening and must have an insurable driving record.

Job Type: Full-time, non exempt, hourly.

Pay: Depending on Experience, starting at $25.00 per hour.

  • 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, overtime required as work indicates.

Work Location: In person, this is not a remote work role.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
