EPC Contracts Manager

On site- Arlington, VA

The Company:

Duties:

  • Ensure contracts are drafted, negotiated, and executed in accordance with organizational requirements of Energix EPC
  • Preparing RFPs for clients and commercial bids
  • Bid leveling and comparisons
  • Contract negotiations and buyout
  • Developing and presenting project proposals
  • Producing plans and estimating budgets and timescales
  • Discussing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating the terms of business contracts
  • Agreeing budgets and timescales with the clients
  • Managing construction schedules and budgets
  • Attending site meetings to monitor progress
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, site and project managers
  • Making sure construction projects meet agreed technical standards
  • Liaising with technical and financial staff, sub-contractors, legal teams and the client’s own representatives
  • Overseeing invoicing
  • Manage contract renewals, change orders, etc
  • Maintain accurate bidding and contract records
  • Mitigate organizational contract risks

Skills:

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, writing, and communication skills
  • An understanding of renewables and construction industry
  • Strong fluency with legal documentation and contract management/negotiation
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Business management skills

Relevant Experience:

  • Bachelors or 4 year degree
  • 3-5 years relevant experience
