Job Description Summary:

As part of the Environmental Compliance team, assist with coordination efforts to help implement SOLV Energys National Stormwater Compliance Program.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Assist with document management for SOLV Energys National Stormwater Compliance Program documents (i.e. monthly audits, inspection reports, Notice of Intents (NOIs), Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), erosion control plans, Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans, training logs, etc.).
  • Maintain and update the Project Specific Tracker database (i.e. permit end dates, state-specific stormwater requirements and new CGPs, SPCC updates, new projects, etc.).
  • Update Project Specific Tracker with up-to-date, relevant project information.
  • Assist with stormwater/erosion consultation to SOLV Energy Field Teams and SOLV Energy Personnel regarding communicating field changes and updates for compliance documentation and tracking.
  • Assist in completing the Appendix H SOLV Energy Comprehensive SWPPP Executive Summary Memo for each project and ensuring document is filed electronically and within the field SWPPP. Update Memos as needed when project information changes.
  • Compile meeting minutes for Internal Weekly SWPPP Meeting, Field Stormwater Technician Bi-Weekly Meeting, and Monthly Superintendent Meeting.
  • Research various environmental permits per local, state, and federal regulations (SPCC, CGP, vegetation management, etc.).
  • Review monthly project compliance metrics to assist Program Manager in quarterly Environmental Compliance Committee presentation.
  • Communicate with Sunscreen Team if inspectors are having issues or find bugs in the program.
  • Assist with Hazardous Material Business Plan (HMBP) submittals for new California projects and submit changes to the plans throughout the duration of construction.
  • Ensure latest copies of SWPPPs, SPCCs, and IFCs are saved in the Project Specific SWPPP Documents Teams folder.
  • Provide QA/QC oversight to NOIs, SWPPPs, IFCs, and SPCCs for each project.
  • Assist with overseeing and documenting Monthly SWPPP Audit Program, including but not limited to:
    • Ensuring that the internal records reflect the job site SWPPP and documentation to reflect ongoing changes and alterations as construction progresses to meet individual states living document SWPPP requirements.
    • Ensuring Routine and Weather-Related Site Inspections are documented to record both successes and areas that need attention and the documentation is available electronically to the project management team, upon request.
    • Reviewing via Sunscreen, inspection reports, corrective action logs, BMP Site Map and amendment logs created by Certified Inspector, to ensure compliance with specific state and national SWPPP requirements.

Compensation Range:
$61,050.00 – $76,315.00
