We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead a team of engineers and oversee the design and development of various mechanical systems. *Responsibilities*
– Manage a team of engineers, providing guidance and support throughout project lifecycles
Responsible for Energy Management and Project Management
Responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and equipment of buildings and facilities.
Perform analyses of operational processes, resource allocation, energy use, and safety processes, and recommend and implement improvements. Specifically for equipment.
Specific Responsibilities performance and results optimization within the area of responsibility (energy, material, CO2) development of efficient energy production processes identification of potential energy savings in our mills develop know how in energy, production and energy saving and secure know-how transfer between the mills with appropriate measures support the implementation of best practice working procedures support the introduction of state of the art management systems related to a sustainable energy efficiency roadmap support the introduction of state of the art management systems related to an economic decarbonization roadmap secure know-how with adequate and structured internal documentation secure know-how against external parties
consultant within the area of responsibility for the GM and all corporate group functions technical consultant in energy production and energy usage and recovery to evaluate the assets (due diligence) support the GM in technical topics within the area of responsibility collaboration with the local procurement to optimize energy, and project costs partner for local and group controlling within the area of responsibility
Revise engineering design drawings, specifications and reports to validate energy savings.
Search and present energy conservation projects comprising capital and operational measures.
Assist in developing plant layout in planning rearrangement of facilities, equipment and operations for better utilization of space.
Work closely with maintenance / manufacturing personnel to prevent problems with products and equipment. The ability to manage maintenance departments or personnel. Stay informed concerning new manufacturing technologies and equipment in order to manufacture and reduce cost through efficiencies.
