Job Description
Position Summary: The Energy Trader specializing in utility and renewable energy sectors is responsible for buying and selling energy commodities, often under the terms of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) specific to renewable energy projects. This role involves market analysis, risk management, and optimizing energy portfolios with a focus on renewable energy sources.

Key Responsibilities:
- Buy and sell energy commodities within utility and renewable energy markets.
- Execute trades under the terms of renewable energy PPAs.
- Monitor and analyze utility and renewable energy market trends and opportunities.
- Develop and implement trading strategies tailored to renewable energy sources.
- Manage trading risks and ensure compliance with renewable energy regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in energy trading and market analysis, with a specialization in utility and renewable energy sectors.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills applicable to renewable energy markets.
- Knowledge of PPAs and energy trading instruments specific to renewable energy.
- Excellent decision-making and risk management abilities in renewable energy trading.
