Job Description Key Responsibilities: Technical Support Provide technical assistance and remote support for clients, field engineers, and maintenance teams on energy systems such as solar PV, wind turbines, and battery storage systems.

System Monitoring

Monitor the performance of energy systems through SCADA, energy management systems (EMS), or other platforms to identify potential issues and inefficiencies.

Troubleshooting And Diagnostics

Diagnose and resolve issues in energy systems, including electrical, mechanical, and software-related problems. Collaborate with field teams to ensure timely issue resolution.

Customer Support

Assist customers with technical inquiries, system configuration, and performance optimization. Provide clear communication and support to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

Maintenance And Testing

Assist in the development and execution of preventive maintenance programs to ensure energy systems operate at peak performance. Support testing and calibration of equipment as needed.

Technical Documentation

Create and maintain documentation such as service reports, technical manuals, and troubleshooting guides for internal and external use.

Collaboration

Work with cross-functional teams, including project engineers, operations, and sales teams, to provide technical input and ensure that energy systems meet customer requirements and specifications.

Training

Provide technical training and support to clients, field personnel, and internal teams on energy systems, monitoring tools, and maintenance procedures.

Requirements

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in energy systems support, renewable energy, or electrical power systems.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining solar PV, energy storage

Skills

  • Strong understanding of energy systems, including solar and energy storage technologies.
  • Proficiency in using system monitoring software (e.g., SCADA, EMS).
  • Solid problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Good communication skills and customer support experience.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, including inverters, transformers, and grid-tied systems.
  • Qualifications:
  • Certifications in renewable energy systems or electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with energy storage systems and grid integration.
  • Experience with remote monitoring platforms and cloud-based system management tools.
  • Strong project management skills.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
