We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Electrical Technician who will be responsible for providing essential support to our Energy division. This role requires a solid foundation in electrical and general construction skills, with a particular emphasis on solar and batteries work.

Responsibilities:

• Installing solar PV and battery systems, including solar panels, inverters, and wiring.
• Installing residential and commercial electrical panels, fixtures and devices.
• Participate in wiring and installing low voltage SCADA systems for data monitoring and control.
• Lay underground electrical conduit, install pull boxes, and pull wire to various locations.
• Perform low voltage landscape lighting installations, burying landscape wire for safety and proper placement.
• Build pedestal / strut walls to support electrical equipment, water pumps, SCADA and machinery.
• Collaborate on electrical troubleshooting and problem resolution at construction sites.
• Perform various other general electrical installation tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years of construction experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in the electrical field, with some experience in solar.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting single line diagrams and construction plans.
• Proficiency in the operation hand and power tools is essential.

The compensation will vary based on experience ranging between $35-$45 per hour.
