Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $200,000 – $240,000 base salary, plus commission

Job Description:

The Director of Sales will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our sales strategy within the commercial and industrial (C&I) renewable sector. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth, establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and lead a team to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive growth in the C&I renewable sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging a deep understanding of the market and industry trends.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, setting clear goals and providing guidance to achieve targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align strategies and drive successful outcomes.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions and optimize sales performance.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and presentations to senior management.
  • Negotiate and close contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
  • Stay current with industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, origination, and development within the commercial and industrial renewable energy sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing sales strategies that drive growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of the C&I renewable energy market, including industry trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make strategic decisions based on insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level stakeholders.
