As Director of Engineering, you’ll be leading a team of up to 10 junior engineers, driving the success of solar and battery storage projects from origination through to COD. Key Responsibilities:

Lead Engineering Excellence: Oversee all engineering disciplines—mechanical, electrical, and civil—on commercial-scale solar and battery storage projects. Ensure seamless coordination and execution from project origination to COD.

Mentor and Develop Talent: Guide a team of up to 10 junior engineers, providing mentorship, fostering professional growth, and ensuring the team operates at peak efficiency.

Innovate for Optimal Outcomes: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, driving innovative solutions that optimize project performance, enhance reliability, and reduce costs, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Qualifications:

Engineering Expertise: Strong background in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering. The ideal candidate should have understanding of electrical and civil drawings sets, the lifecycle of projects, coordination with utilities, along with experience managing third party vendors.

Leadership Experience: 8-10 years of successful engineering experience, with at least 2 years of management experience, leading direct reports. Proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering high-quality results.

Renewable Energy Enthusiasm: While prior renewable energy project experience is preferred, it’s not required. What we value most is your passion, adaptability, and willingness to learn in this evolving industry.
