Company: Successful DG/C&I Solar Developer in the Northeast USA

Location: Remote – New England

Compensation: $130,000 – $180,000 + potential bonus and/or commission

Job Summary:

A successful Distributed Generation Solar developer in the Northeast USA is seeking an experienced Battery Energy Storage professional to lead the development of this new technology within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of battery energy storage projects, collaborating with engineering and sales teams, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop relationships with stakeholders, and drive growth and profitability in the storage division.
• Stay updated on regulations and policies related to energy storage in New England, advocate for favorable policies, and ensure project compliance.
• Hire, train, and manage a team of storage professionals. Provide leadership, and support employees in learning storage technologies.
• Address complex challenges with innovative solutions, use strategic thinking to overcome obstacles, and seek opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Battery Energy Storage, encompassing both technical and business development aspects.
• Strong understanding of New England’s energy storage regulatory market and staying up-to-date on new advancements.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in building and managing teams.
• Excellent strategic problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
