The Director of Channel Sales, will spearhead the development and execution of channel sales strategies to drive growth across the region. This role involves managing and expanding our network for channel partners, optimizing partner performance, and ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will be skilled in partner recruitment, enablement, and management, with a strong background in channel sales and a deep understanding of the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel Sales Strategy Development: Design and execute a strategic plan to grow channel sales across North America, aligning corporate goals and market opportunities
  • Channel Partner Recruitment and Onboarding: Identify, engage, and onboard new channel partners to expand market reach while developing and implementing a structured process to integrate new partners efficiently and effectively
  • Partner Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, productive relationships with existing channel partners and serve as the primary point of contact for channel partners, providing support and resolving issues related to sales, product delivery, and service
  • Sales Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor and analyze partner performance metrics, including sales volume, revenue, and market penetration
  • Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze market data to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
  • Collaboration and Marketing: Work closely with Marketing teams to align channel sales initiatives with broader brand and marketing efforts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s of Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • 10+ years of sales experience within the energy industry, with at least 5 years focused on channel sales or partner management in the energy sector
  • Deep understanding of channel sales strategies, including partner segmentation, sales incentives, and go-to-market tactics
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills with a fully client-facing approach
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel as needed within the region
