Job Description

Our client, a solar developer and IPP currently doubling in size, is seeking a Director of Business Development to help accelerate the transition to clean energy in the C&I Solar sector. This position can be based out of the following states: TX, NY, NJ, MD, PA.

Role:

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key business executives and stakeholders
  • Identify and close opportunities in emerging and existing markets within the Commercial and/or Industrial solar sector.
  • Drive contract negotiations and optimize strategic objectives and profit

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in sales and/or account management
  • 7+ years of experience in solar and energy storage sector
  • Experience selling to Commercial/Industrial asset owners/land owners
  • PPA procurement experience
  • Proven ability to communicate and influence at all organizational levels, including executive and C-level
