What We Are Looking For
As the Director, APM Products, you will lead our APM (Asset Performance Management) product team. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond, for our industry-leading PowerTrack Web and next-generation PowerTrack APM product suite. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive product strategy, prioritize initiatives, and collaborate effectively across departments to ensure our products exceed customer expectations and drive business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with company goals and market trends.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Technology, Sales, Deployments, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, and other Product Line teams to deliver cohesive and successful solutions.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research, voice-of-customer, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and trends, guiding product roadmap decisions.
- Product Roadmap: Define and prioritize products, modules, and features based on customer feedback, data analysis, and strategic priorities.
- Execution: Drive the execution of the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that meet user needs and business requirements.
- Solution Launch: Lead successful launches, coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and achieve revenue targets.
- Customer Focus: Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points, advocating for the customer throughout the product development process.
Requirements
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in product management with at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally in a B2B software environment. Alternatively: 8+ years of experience in renewable asset management, portfolio management, or operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Domain Expertise: Electric industry experience with demonstrated understanding of renewable energy and power systems: solar PV or battery energy storage in the commercial, industrial or utility sector
- Willingness to attend recurring meetings during business hours in India
- Experience working in an Agile engineering organization is a plus
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Figma are a plus
