Role Summary:

  • Guide project development through early, mid, and/or late stages.
  • Ensure alignment of projects with the company’s long-term goals and strategic plans.
  • Identify potential development opportunities by conducting market assessments, recognizing potential issues, and performing preliminary site evaluations.
  • Secure land rights for development opportunities, including negotiating leases, easements, and other agreements with property owners.
  • Facilitate communication with landowners.
  • Take the lead in acquiring necessary local, state, and/or federal permits.
  • Act as a representative of BrightNight’s customers, landowners, state and local authorities, and other key stakeholders.
  • Initiate and manage interconnection activities for energy generation.
  • Assist with project budgeting and scheduling.
  • Oversee tasks to ensure they meet budgetary and timeline requirements, coordinating both internal and external technical resources.
