Position Title:
Designer/Drafter
Pay Rate:
$61,200 – $68,000
Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

Hourly Full-Time (7am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday)

The Job You Will Perform:
  • Provide engineering documentation and control for the Columbus Pulp facility.
  • Administer the engineering drawings for the mill
  • Provide advanced level AutoCAD capability and familiarity with International Paper drawing practices and standards for support to mill engineering staff.
  • Create new and update existing drawings as required in response to capital projects and mill process changes (will include P&IDs, electrical and process control drawings, piping drawings and structural drawings)
The Skills You Will Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in relevant field preferred; or currently enrolled in program
  • AutoCAD software proficiency
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written to constructively interact with mill teams, project teams, outside Engineering firms and management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel
  • Interest in engineering project support and developing ability to support project execution in the mill.
