Location: Pacific Noth West PNW (Remote + 75% on the road)

While Ceres Imaging is based in the Bay Area, California, founded in 2013, our customer support and account managers work remotely in different growing regions. We continue to grow globally, with a growing and sophisticated product line, with a range of agri-businesses large and small trusting us to provide them with timely, actionable data.

About the role:

Reporting to PNW Head of customer success and business development. The role is to ensure our customers receive value from using and expanding their relationship with Ceres products and services. This involves working with medium to large agricultural enterprises who are often part of larger land management organizations. We are looking for a Customer Success Manager with a strong agronomic background who understands how modern agtech works, in particular imaging, and can help our customers optimize their use of water, chemicals and fertilizers for better yield outcomes.

Successful candidates will need to be highly detail oriented and have strong time management skills, willing to travel and meet growers in person in the region. Some customer orientation is a must, along with an aptitude for analyzing and using imagery, and being able to communicate an ROI clearly and effectively. This will involve engaging with our local and global team of experts and create strategies to expand value with existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow positive relationships with our customers in the region through a demonstrated agronomic expertise.
  • Work effectively with the Ceres Imaging global science team who provide agronomic recommendations, through Zoom and in person meetings with new & existing customers.
  • Work with Product Management regarding product usage, service, design, and development.
  • Minimize customer churn.
  • Handle and resolve customer requests and escalations.
  • Liaise with our flight operations team to monitor & manage flight schedules.

Skills for Success:

  • Proven track record of meeting or surpassing goals preferably in Ag SaaS companies.
  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce and Jira.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset.
  • Previous experience in the agriculture industry.
  • Understanding of data and analytics solutions.
