About the role:

As a Copywriter focused on customer experiences, you will develop and execute copy strategies and messaging that enhance the customer journey and improve service interactions across an array of channels. Your focus will be to help communicate effectively to our customers in the moments that matter most: rewards redemption, account activation, downloading the mobile app, fraud mitigation strategies, adding an authorized user, and more…

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and implement copy strategies for customer experience and servicing initiatives, including web content, email campaigns, letters, SMS notifications, customer service scripts, in-app messaging and more.
  • Create clear, engaging, and consistent copy that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our diverse customer base across multiple products, services, and co-brand partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer service teams to develop customer-centric messaging that enhances the overall customer experience.
  • Write, review and edit content for customer communications, including onboarding materials, account updates, FAQs, and service announcements.
  • Ensure all copy adheres to regulatory standards and reflects our commitment to transparency, integrity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and trends to inform copy strategy.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance customer experience initiatives and service interactions.
  • Proofread and edit content for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of customer experience and servicing copy to continuously improve effectiveness and customer engagement.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in copywriting and customer experience marketing.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably within the financial services, credit card industry, or have worked across the customer experience journey.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of copywriting projects and campaigns.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to simplify complex financial concepts into clear, customer-friendly language.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $65,000 – $75,000. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package
