What You Will Do:

Guidehouse provides comprehensive and customer-centric solutions for clean energy programs including energy efficiency, demand response, electrification, energy storage, renewable energy, and sustainability programs. We help our clients visualize and identify market opportunities for clean energy programs and then work with them to build and strengthen those programs.

Our customer programs team is a community of experts working on the front lines of the utility industry transition. We partner with our clients to design innovative programs, evaluate and optimize program contributions towards climate, energy, and other goals, and continuously improve the program experience for customers. Key responsibilities for this position may include:

  • Analyze industry market data with a focus on how utility customers interact with and experience energy-related technologies and programs
  • Assessing energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies through engineering analysis, energy modeling, and field work
  • Performing complex technical and economic analyses, spreadsheet creation, and project/task management.
  • Creatively develop visually compelling and human-centric insights and recommendations
  • Communicate strategies and solutions to clients through comprehensive reports and compelling presentations
  • Participate in team meetings and communication threads on email and Teams as needed to provide proactive status updates and to communicate/elevate issues as necessary
  • Collaborate with team leadership keeping them abreast of project progress and important developments

What You Will Need:

  • Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years
  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelors Degree (Must still be enrolled in an accredited degree program in 2024 and graduate by Summer of 2025)
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the country
  • No sponsorship is available for this position

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Degree/Majors Preferred: Engineering, Econometrics, Business, Social or Political Science, Environmental Studies, and/or related majors
  • Interest and/or experience in clean energy, energy efficiency, and/or sustainability
  • Aspirations to develop expertise in energy systems with a long-term goal of contributing to significant energy transition projects
  • Experience conducting primary and secondary research such as surveys, in-depth interviews, and focus groups
  • Experience working in teams to produce high-impact work products, reports, and other deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • Possesses strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to engage in client and team discussions and communicate with varying audiences
  • Heightened attention to detail
  • An inquisitive nature and desire for continuous improvement

The annual salary range for this position is $54,300.00-$81,500.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
