Siouxland Energy Cooperative is owned by 395 farmer members who are proud to do their part in producing clean renewable energy through innovation, stewardship, and collaboration. We are seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our team and oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of our fuel and low carbon compliance programs.

Job Description:

As The Compliance Specialist, you will be integral to our operational success. Responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement comprehensive fuel compliance and carbon scoring/intensity programs. Serving as the primary point of contact for compliance-related inquiries and issues.
• Provide guidance and training to employees to ensure accurate compliance tracking and reporting.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards. Investigating and resolving compliance issues.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact our fuel program compliance obligations both domestically and internationally.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies and vendors to ensure accurate compliance tracking and reporting.

Work Hours: Full-time / in-person

Salary: Dependent upon experience & aptitude + eligible for full scope benefit package including medical, dental, short-term and long-term disability insurance and a generous paid time off program.

Required Education: Bachelors degree in business or experience in the ethanol industry preferred. Willing to train a detail-oriented individual with strong excel skills and an aptitude for understanding and implementing regulations and guidance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
