The Centre for Nature and Climate is a multistakeholder platform that focuses on protecting our environment and fostering sustainable practices. Our goals include achieving Net Zero emissions, promoting responsible land and ocean use, and improving the management of key resources like food, water, and raw materials.
Why we are recruiting
The Food and Water team has worked on initiatives for a decade and a half, galvanizing multi-sectoral leadership to support collective regional and country-led action, while advancing global insight and policy to accelerate food systems transformation and water security and equity to meet the needs of people and the planet – .
The food and water agenda has three strategic tracks:
1. Finance and Incentives for Regenerative and Climate Adaptive Value Chains
2. Innovation and Technology Ecosystems
3. Public Private Partnerships to support country pathways
Under the second pillar of innovation and technology ecosystems, the Food Innovation Hubs (FIH) global initiative, launched in 2021, has been catalyzed by the World Economic Forum and several public, private, and civil society stakeholders to strengthen innovation ecosystems for the food systems transformation. The initiative aims to drive relevant high-end and low-cost inclusive innovation to achieve a scalable impact and meet the needs of food systems stakeholders. Initially, we have focused on developing pace-setter Innovation Hubs that drive multistakeholder action in Colombia, Europe, India, Kenya, Vietnam and UAE, connected by a global Food Innovators Network
