A Snapshot of Your Day

Working with an energetic team to review projects from a financial perspective regarding budgets, actual costs, open Purchase Orders, forecasts, invoicing customers, and reviewing impacts to the income statement and balance sheet for IPS. The Integrated Power Turbine (IPS) is a fast-growing team at Siemens Energy. The team purchases used non-Siemens engines and overhaul them to resell along with related parts and field service work.
In our Business Functions, we enable our organization to reach its targets by providing best-in-class services and solutions in the areas of IT, HR, Finance, Real Estate, Strategy & Technology, and more.

How Youll Make an Impact
  • Review numerous projects, both internal and external with a financial overview including budget analysis
  • Review and update forecasts, delivery dates, and commitments with Project Management and Logistics teams
  • Make Financial Journal entries as it relates to project actuals.
  • Review the project and R&D departments actuals as it relates to the income statement and balance sheet.

What You Bring
  • Small project CPM certification
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project accounting and Siemens Energy experience
  • Minimum 5 years of SAP experience; PS1 experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the balance sheet and income statement accounts as it relates to each other.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
