The ideal candidate has a Journeymans electrical license with a willingness to learn more. The position will work on Utility Scale and C&I Commercial Solar Projects.

Pay range for this role is $35.00- $52.00 an hour, depending on experience. We are excited to also offer a hire on bonus of $2,500.00 for this role! *
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Report to Construction Manager on daily basis
  • Adhere to weekly tasks given and perform daily reporting on progress via CompanyCam app
  • Responsible for assembling all components of solar energy systems, electrically wiring AC/DC systems, and structurally mounting racking and electrical equipment.
  • Lead our teams with the electrical work needed to complete our daily installations.
  • Follow Company and OSHA safety policies
  • Extensive knowledge of NEC standards
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Responsible for daily reporting of apprentice hours and explanation of tasks they performed.
  • Install both underground and above ground electrical conduits per code
  • Perform O&M duties on previously built systems under contract or build warranty
  • Conduct site visits and all site inspections
  • Project planning and management
  • Conduct material take-offs
  • Manage subcontractors on site as necessary

EDUCATION:
Appropriate AHJ licensing (preferred)
EXPERIENCE:
  • 1-3 years of commercial solar installation experience (strongly preferred)
  • 4+ years of Commercial electrical experience (required)

COMPETENCIES SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES
  • Successfully completed a 4 year apprenticeship or able to prove equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of the NEC
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical work and the local codes
  • Tools necessary to complete electrical tasks
  • Comfortable working on rooftops of any height/pitch
  • Able to travel up to 100% of the time
  • Able to qualify and successfully pass state or local AHJ examinations as needed
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push materials to complete assigned job task
  • Capacity to meet hard and fast deadlines while managing multiple projects
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • A clean driving record and valid drivers license
  • Professional appearance
  • Hire on bonus will be paid in 2 increments. $1,000 will be paid out at 90 days of employment and the remaining $1,500 at 6 months of employment.
