Job Description

Launch is a certified minority and woman owned staffing firm, focused on direct hire placements in finance and accounting. Clean Energy Officer Location: Wynwood, Miami

Currently, the biggest roadblocks to solar adoption are high up-front costs and long-term commitments. Our client solves these issues through a unique model that can save customers up to 50% on their energy bills, with no up-front investment, free maintenance, continuous upgrades and a short contract.

By 2039, the aging U.S. energy grid is projected to be a $1 trillion problem. But wider solar adoption can help reduce the strain on our energy infrastructure and create a decentralized network of sustainable microgrids. This is the vision that powers us.

As part of our expansion strategy, we are seeking a highly qualified Clean Energy Officer to focus on working with the IRS on the Clean Electricity Production and Investment Tax Credits and ensure compliance with financial regulations, while supporting our strategic initiatives in the clean energy market.

Job Summary: The Clean Energy Officer will play a crucial role in managing and ensuring compliance with financial regulations within the energy sector. This position involves analyzing regulatory requirements and working with local governing bodies on filing/obtaining relevant permits for various solar energy projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, local jurisdictions and the energy industry. They will have dealt with government programs on the regulatory side of both finance and operations, have an exceptional attention to detail/precision and a mathematical/analytical background.
