Position Specific Description

We are actively looking for a Claims Operations Support Agent to join our Claims team!

Seeking skilled professionals to join our team in a Claims Operations Support Agent role. If you have a background in insurance and a passion for delivering top-notch service, this position offers a unique opportunity for growth and development. Palms is willing to train the right candidate for this exciting role.

The Anticipated Claims Ops Support Tasks Are As Follows

  • Documenting first notices of loss details with precision and accuracy.
  • Efficiently setting up and managing claims to ensure a seamless process.
  • Handling payments and invoices with a keen eye for detail.
  • Importing spreadsheets into the claims system.
  • Process small payments.
  • File electronic emails and documents.
  • Direct flow of emails to the appropriate adjuster.
  • Update and maintain the counsel and coverage counsel lists on excel.
  • Prepare and send out emails to insureds, Third-Party Administrators, counsel, vendors, brokers and insurers.
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry is highly valued.

  • Compiles basic information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials

  • Maintains or prepares records and documentation
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Experience: 3+ years
