Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the CEO and functionally to the Corporate CFO, you will be responsible for making strategic decisions to ensure the growth and profitability of the region.
  • Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Responsible for building out and leading a new finance team in the US region
  • Jointly with the BU President, perform analysis of new investment opportunities (organic) and seek approvals from Investment Committee and BoD
  • Jointly with the BU President and the M&A Senior VP, perform analysis of new investment opportunities (inorganic/M&A) and seek approvals from Investment Committee and BoD
  • Lead the efforts to fund new projects on a non-recourse basis, both project finance debt and tax equity investment
  • Devise an internal bookkeeping and admin function within the BU so it can produce monthly closings facilitating the consolidation at Corporate level
  • Performing a tight and close control activities, both at BU and Project level. This includes G&A, Development, CAPEX and EBITDA budget.
  • Lead financial analysis needed to make decisions on RFPs, financings and M&A activity
  • Run an efficient and seamless tax practice, both for compliance and for structuring purposes, including tax equity investment in projects. Taxation, general and cost accounting, and treasury.
  • Cost control and project profitability calculation.
  • Preparation of regional dashboard.
  • Preparation and monitoring of the annual budget, Forecast, and Latest Estimate.
  • Ad-hoc reports, risk and opportunity detection, deviations, and areas for business improvement.
  • Supervision and responsibility for the Annual Accounts.
  • Responsibility for regional external audit.
  • Establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with financial institutions, auditors, etc.
  • Insurance area.
  • Organizing the department towards continuous process improvement to maximize efficiency and optimize necessary resources.
  • Management, development, and motivation of the team.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in CFO positions.
  • Ability to attract proven talent to the finance team
  • Highly knowledgeable on project financing and tax equity investment
  • Highly knowledgeable of M&A transactions
  • Very strong controlling skills
  • Understand financial models well
  • Very strong presentation skills, both oral and written
  • Availability to travel
