The CFO will play a crucial role in driving financial strategy, with a primary focus on raising multiple rounds of funding to fuel growth.
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, strategic financial planning, and financial management in a high-growth environment. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of managing investor relations and executing fundraising strategies to support expansion goals.

Focus:
- Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies, including venture capital, private equity, debt financing, and other funding sources.
- Lead the preparation and presentation of financial information to potential investors, ensuring clarity and alignment with the company’s vision and growth objectives.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with investors, venture capitalists, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making and ensure the company’s financial health.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue/expense analysis.
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to align financial strategies with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
- Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and negotiations in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders, including the board of directors, investors, and regulatory bodies.
- Oversee all aspects of financial compliance, including audits, tax filings, and adherence to financial regulations and standards.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship and development opportunities to staff.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
Skill Set:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably as a CFO or equivalent, in a high-growth company.
- Proven track record of successfully raising capital through various funding rounds.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with investors and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in managing financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
