Capital Markets Associate

The Green Recruitment Company is working with a reputable renewable energy developer in their search for an Associate to join their Capital Markets team and support the execution and structuring of financing transactions. Backed by one of the largest PE investors in the renewable energy space, with a multi-gigawatt pipeline of solar and storage projects, this is the perfect time to join this fast-paced, people-first organization.

Responsibilities

• Work on complex transactions to support company’s utility scale solar + storage portfolio, including tax equity, term debt, and corporate facilities.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models for renewable projects.
• Manage due diligence process, maintain and develop 3rd party with external stakeholders, and manage junior team members daily.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ experience in project finance tailored to renewable projects and transactions
• Tax equity transaction experience highly preferred
• Bachelors degree required in a relevant field
• Advanced financial modeling capabilities required
• Transaction experience in energy or infrastructure sector at a developer, PE firm, investment bank, advisory, or similar.
