Job Overview

We are looking to bring on a CAD Designer to join our growing organization! This role is responsible for creating detailed assembly drawings, bill of materials, selecting materials based on project specifications and choosing appropriate weld details per ASME specifications.

Responsibilities

Creating The Following Types Of Detail Drawings

• Piping and tubing assemblies complying with ASME B31.3 requirements.
• Pressure Vessels complying with ASME pressure vessel code Section VIII.
• Steel frame weldments for equipment skids and cold box frames.
• Details of machined parts.
• Selection of parts and materials to be used in the above drawing assembly types to create Bill of Materials for procurement.

Interact and collaborate with the project and sales engineers in the sold vaporizer systems.

Interact and collaborate with the purchasing and manufacturing departments for the sold vaporizer systems.

Interact and provide support with the customers on drawing submittals and requested information.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Qualifications

• 0 to 3 years’ relevant work experience.
• Use of the following engineering and design software:
• Inventor 2010 or later and/or SolidWorks
• AutoCAD 2010 or later
• Microsoft Office
• PLM Software (Product Center preferred)
• ERP Software
• Minimum completion of high school or equivalent.
• CAD technical school degree preferred

Annual Salary

$47,123 – $78,126
