PSE’s Customer Energy Mgmt & Renewables team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Business Support Analyst – Trade Ally Network position!

Job Description

Performs a variety of quantitative/qualitative analysis, as well as reporting, to support Trade Ally Network (TAN) business needs and requirements. Provides technical support (troubleshooting, maintenance and enhancements) and consultation for a variety of database systems and reports used throughout the department.

Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSEs operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides related application maintenance, troubleshooting, and training for internal and external stakeholders when necessary. Assists with application system implementation, testing and/or upgrades as appropriate (may include coding and scripting).
  • Inputs data and evaluates the output from departmental modeling tools, benchmarking comparisons and performance reporting. Initiates, leads and performs analysis; provides/presents recommendations.
  • Provides ad-hoc data analysis, which may include research and review of issues, and follow-on response.
  • Coordinates and supports data requests from internal or external sources (such as Compliance, Energy Efficiency, Energy Equity, Government filings, etc.)
  • Assists with departmental initiatives, new analysis development and process improvement, on an as- needed basis.
  • May lead project teams on various related business initiatives.
  • Support Program Manager and Program Coordinator with analytics and reporting (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually)
  • Contractor performance management
  • Monthly contractor (non-consumption) billing, aging reports
  • Maintain contractor contact information
  • Energy Advisor call review and QA
  • Trade Ally Connect (TAC) software maintenance
  • Invoice processing
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates degree in business, economics, finance, or related, and 3 years experience in quantitative/ qualitative analysis; or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • Experience working with relational database sytems (querying, analysis, reporting).
  • Strong computer skill utilizing MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical concepts.
  • Excellent writing, communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience and desire to work in a team environment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills. Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize assignments.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in related field.
  • Project management skills.
  • Experience leading teams.
  • Related business-specific experience may include:
    • Advanced relational database familiarity (SQL, Oracle).
    • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Pro.
    • Knowledge of programming language (Visual Basic, SQL, VB.NET, HTML). Knowledge of rate-making process.
    • Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft PowerBI.

The pay range for this position is $67,800.00 – $96,400.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
