RESPONSIBILITY:

As the Business Development Manager, Energy Storage Solutions (ESS) for the company’s grid level energy storage products in the US market, your responsibilities include:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the energy storage sector.
  • Conduct research on potential clients, foster relationships with key players, and pinpoint emerging market segments.

Strategic Client Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate a network comprising project developers, IPPs, utilities, EPCs, investors, and other vital stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication prowess to earn trust and establish credibility with decision-makers.

Revenue Growth in Key Markets:

  • Drive sales expansion in pivotal market segments and geographies, especially among utilities, commercial, and industrial sectors.
  • Deeply understand customer requirements and craft tailored solutions to address.

Comprehensive Customer Management:

  • Oversee all facets of customer management, from acquisition and recommendations to relationship nurturing, contract discussions, and overall support.
  • Utilize outstanding interpersonal abilities to forge robust customer bonds.

Project Oversight:

  • Create and uphold project specifications, guaranteeing punctual and precise project submissions that align with both customer and business needs.
  • Exhibit exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Management of Business Opportunities and KPIs:

  • Record and manage business prospects, contracts, and developmental endeavors within company CRM system.
  • Formulate strategic regional plans to hit sales targets and strategic goals to boost the company’s bottom line.

Timely Communication and Reporting:

  • Keep all pertinent parties updated on sales endeavors, performance metrics, market shifts, project progress, and customer relationship dynamics.
  • Use superior communication techniques to relay intricate data in an understandable and succinct way.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum of three years of technical sales/business development experience within energy storage and EPC
  • Experience in grid level battery energy storage systems including integrated battery system, inverters/converters, power supplies, and general power for utility and EPC clients.
  • Comprehensive familiarity with the U.S. market landscapes pertaining to photovoltaics, wind energy, grid-scale energy storage, and commercial & industrial energy storage sectors.
  • Able to communicate effectively with diverse teams in multiple regions, orchestrating interactions across hierarchical levels, underscored by a global orientation. Possess sharp market acumen, superior problem-solving skills, adeptness in collaborating with multicultural teams, and an unwavering commitment to professional ethics.
  • The ideal candidate will be results-driven, client centered, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and dedicated to upholding the highest standards of excellence.
  • Able to travel 50% domestically and at times, internationally.
  • Must live in the central or southeast states of the US.
