Our Consultancy area specializes in the technical assessment of renewable energy projects. We work for the entities that finance the projects, or for the investment funds that buy or sell them.

We are currently looking for an Associate Project Manager to join our fast-growing and diverse consultancy team, to report to the Senior Manager of Consultancy. This position is client-facing and will require some level of travel. The role provides an excellent opportunity to grow as a renewable energy professional.

Among its main functions, the selected person will have the following tasks:

  • Supporting Project Managers in the management of consulting, engineering and testing projects assigned
  • Producing performing solar resource studies and performing energy production estimates using tools such as PVsyst
  • Producing energy modeling on storage projects using tools such as Homer
  • Analyzing renewable energy project level documentation such as interconnection agreements, power purchase agreements, EPC agreements, O&M agreements, permits, and environmental reviews
  • Verifying electrical designs of renewable energy projects.
  • Perform reviews of equipment used on potential renewable energy projects.
  • Continuous evaluation of process improvement for technical due diligence reports produced.

What do we need?

  • 3 to 5 years of photovoltaic design and/or consultancy.
  • Excellent understanding of solar electrical design
  • Experience with PVsyst. Experience with other modeling software is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar engineering degrees.
  • Some knowledge of multi-state and federal government regulatory requirements for solar development and operation.
  • Some knowledge of general solar construction and operation requirements
  • Knowledge and familiarity with NEC code.
