About the role:

We are hiring an Associate Creative Director copy oriented to work as part of one of our dedicated teams. This role will lead all creative and production developments for the client, and work with them directly to articulate and deliver their messages to their audiences; translating these messages into creative solutions. These solutions will develop an identity that is both breakthrough and compelling, aligned to the clients key marketing and communication objectives; and with the brand guidelines and standards. We are looking for someone highly embedded/trained in public sector/government/non-profit narratives, they should stay current with the US and global political landscape and present with strategic and relevant narratives for key opinion former audiences.

What you will be doing:

Through leadership of the creative team and some hands-on delivery, the Associate Creative Director will develop and manage messaging frameworks, creative concepts, copywriting and copy supervision/editing; and oversee all production of projects, including art and design work, and social media. The Associate Creative Director will have line management responsibility for a team of designers and copywriters, providing leadership and direction, development, conducting staff reviews and taking corrective action. The Associate Creative Director will be passionate about all things creative, with a strong interest in the newest marketing technologies. They will be a problem solver, client focused and an energizing person. They will have the ability to draw people together to share ideas and deliver great results for both Oliver and its clients. They will work collaboratively with clients and their team, participate in company strategizing, and make recommendations for changes to the creative function to meet market changes, competitive threats or to support strategic plans.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Over 6 years of experience leading creative projects from the copywriting perspective
  • Experience managing creative teams
  • Experience with public sector/government/non-profit/CSR communications
  • Experience developing creative messaging frameworks and creative concepts
  • Desired experience with tech industry/B2B, experience with PR/Comms
  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $135,000 to $145,000. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
